About Sustaina Company
I have always considered myself the Trojan Horse, who creates changes from within companies, rather that shouting at them from the outside. It is very important for me to build knowledge within companies to manage CSR/sustainability on their own. Creating Trojan horses in every little company, so to speak. – Anne Katrine Blirup, Founder of Sustaina Company
When we first started Sustaina Company
Our founder, Anne Katrine toured the danish fashion industry with a small and free program, called “How to eat an elephant”.
She wanted to share her knowledge on sustainability and help companies get started with their implementation.
However, she soon found out that as sustainability and CSR is an ever-changing and evolving phenomenon, that changes as we all grow wiser and new scientific discoveries are made, she also had to update her program regularly.
The story behind the elephant
The program had to be updated regularly and she was still meeting people and companies who needed help every little step of the way.
As a consequence, she decided to expand and develop the program to make it as thorough and updated as possible, still using the succesful and doable step-by-step approach.
The elephant approach and the Sustainawear Community was born! The approach has now helped or is helping more than 50 companies in the fashion and lifestyle industry.
Our values
Join the happy crowd
The program has lots of comment sections and a forum for this purpose exactly. You can always use the other members of the community, who might have had the same issues or challenges as you’re experiencing. Don’t hold back! Sharing is caring, and we’re all here to learn.
