Sustainability Implementation in the Fashion Industry
Implementing sustainability and creating a CSR strategy can seem overwhelming. Where do you start? Where does it end? The truth is, it probably never ends. That’s why we have made it our mission to make sure the journey is an eduational and an exciting adventure. CSR and sustainability are vital parts of today’s and tomorrow’s business.
By joining our e-learning program Sustainawear Community, you will not only go from CSR newbie to CSR-expert. You will also go from crossing your fingers, hoping that everything is okay, to knowing you are doing what you need to, to meet requirements and legislations.
Make CSR and Sustainability Comprehensible
Change doesn’t happen over night. Especially with a subject as big and comprehensive as sustainability.
At Sustaina Company we like to see sustainability as an elephant. And how would you eat an elephant?
One bite at a time...
It’s this exact approach on which our e-learning program, Sustainawear Community, is based. All the included knowledge, tools and activities are structured in small manageable bites in the most logical and natural order.
This is to ensure that everyone can reach their goals and become their company’s very own CSR-expert.
Even thought we love helping companies kick off their sustainability implementation, and have done so more than 30 times, what is most important to us, is a sustainable fashion industry. And we know that even if we worked day and night, we’ll never make that change on our own. So instead, we want to place qualified and well-informed CSR responsibles in as many fashion companies as possible.
The Sustainawear Community
In our e-learning program, Sustainawear Community, the implementation process is divided into small, easily digestible bites served over the course of six stages.
In addition to the video lessons the modules also include documents, tools and templates needed at the various steps. Sometimes the modules end with a fun quiz, to test your knowledge, and see if it sticks.
When you complete a step, you can mark it in the program and enjoy a little greeting. This allows you to track you progress and see how far you’ve come.
If you want to know more about a specific subject, such as leather, the HIGG index, policies or audits, the Deep Dive section is the place for you.
